Upside Downing

Upside Downing（以下UD）は、展覧会場Up&Coming（以下UC)を逆さにし、小さくしたものを、UCの建物の中央に配置した作品。UC１階の天井部にUDの２階部分が、UC２階の床面にはUDの１階部分が配置されており、UCとUDは天井/床 板を共有している。
天井に設置されたUDの２階部分の内部には音に反応するパーティライトとともに、天井板に振動スピーカーが設置されており、誰もいないUCで行われたタップダンスの足音が小音で再生されている。
２階に設置されたUDの１階部分には丸い穴が開けられており、床板が振動して聞こえるタップダンスの微かな音が、穴に耳をかざすとよく聞こえる。

Upside Downing (UD) is an upside-down and miniature version of the exhibition venue Up&Coming (UC) , is placed in the center of UC. The second floor of UD is placed on the ceiling of the first floor of UC, and the first floor of UD is placed on the second floor of UC, with UC and UD sharing the same ceiling/floor board.
Inside the second floor of UD on the ceiling, there are sound-responsive party lights and vibration speakers attached in the ceiling boards, which play a small sound of footsteps of tap dancing that was played in the empty UC.
A round hole is drilled into the first floor of UD on the second floor, and the faint sound of tap dancing, which is made by the vibration of the floorboards, can be clearly heard by holding your ear over the hole.
